with only 4GB memory, on a small MINI-ITX PC running WIN XP..GOHW is an outstanding VPO, based on a former Universitary project (OurOrgan), then upgraded by Martin Dyle (UK) and upgraded now by Martin Milan Digital Audio. However you can download a free demo version. HW is running very nice soundbanks, with separate attack and key release (decay) databases. am writing now a new C++ VPO software.A new release is available on : The .exe file is : free_organ.exe 3D button pictures are to be placed in a "free_organ" folder, at the same level. of.bmp on.bmp fond_orgue.bmp At present, free_organ is polyphonic, but loop processing is not implemented yet. (will be imploved as soon as possible) and for only one stop each time. You can select yourstop. Last stop only is played. Users manual is available : FREE_ORGAN_EN.pdf Create : free_organ folder, at the same level than the exe file. Create freeorgan.org containing the same stop names, followed by "END". Put the corresponding stops with 61 keys wavefiles in the stop folders. For example : GOMontre8, GOTrompette8, etc... Follow the classic format "36-C.wav" "037-D.wav". And so on. Connect a MIDI/USB keyboard and play ! If you wish to cooperate and develop in Visual C++, I can send you all source codes upon request for free. |
